Starting with prayer is wise. Let us be wise as we step into the mid-term election season.

Why should we pray?

Seek Wisdom and Discernment: Prayer invites divine guidance so that elected officials—from the President down to local offices—are granted the insight needed to make fair, just decisions regarding the laws of the land.

Promoting Unity and Peace: Our political climate is often deeply polarized. Prayer is our tool to ask for mutual respect, grace, and civil discourse, helping to bridge divides and maintain peace (especially our own peace!) during heated election cycles.

Reordering Priorities: Focusing on a higher, eternal power helps keep political anxieties in check. It reminds us that while civic duty is important, ultimate hope rests beyond temporal political outcomes.

Encouraging Accountability: Interceding for leaders encourages them to act with integrity, protect liberties, and promote policies that follow the constitution and favor life and truth.
