Governor Abbott’s campaign trail continues as he heads to Fort Worth, Texas, to speak with law enforcement.
On Wednesday, September 14, he attended a press conference with the Fort Worth Police Officers Association, a nonprofit to enhance public safety. Governor Abbott was with Manny Ramirez, Republican candidate for County Commissioner, Pct. 4, Phil King, Republican Candidate for Texas Senate, and Texas Senator Kelly Hancock. At the event, he elaborated on why he was running for re-election. He stated that he would ensure our southern border would be protected at all costs, law enforcement would continue to be fully funded, and reform the bail system so dangerous criminals stay behind bars.
Abbott also discussed at the press conference that he is the strongest candidate that will fully support law enforcement!
